The area you can cover is anywhere in the United States for up to 4 locations. AlertMe Pro resides in your system tray with a clear temperature icon representing your location's current conditions. On mouseover you get more detailed listing of your current conditions, while clicking the icon brings up the program's interface. Once viewing the software itself, you can see the current satellite, radar, current conditions, forecast and more at one time.
