Shortcut Search Toolbar provides quick and easy access to multiple search engines and Favorites. Search results are subsequently displayed within an HTML page in an integrated manner. To activate this innovative tool and invoke some of its many features, simply strike the Alt+M hot key, click the dice in the tray for pop-up-menu navigation, or strike one of the 12 predefined shortcuts.

This tool provides every key feature contained within other popular search-engine toolbars with the key advantage of not wasting space on your browser. It saves time and enhances searching and Web navigation. Shortcut Agent is a tray component of Shortcut Search with a robust arsenal of features, such as automated schedulers for updating a plethora of categories, and alerts including Top News Headlines, Top Sellers (books, cars, home entertainment), NASA Discoveries, Virus Alerts Advisories, and Travel/Homeland Security Advisories. Best of all, it's free and easy to customize, install, and uninstall.

Why do so many (virtually all) software packages think that they are so important that they have to be started automatically every time the computer boots? What is the largest number of "speed access", "update check", "camera download" and whatever other background programs you have ever seen running? Of those, how many did you really need?
