Check your speedThe Unicus TextBox replaces the intrinsic Visual Basic TextBox, but adds many powerful features. It is 100% compatible with existing code you have written so upgrading is easy. Supports bound or unbound mode. Use the DataType, DisplayFormat, CustomFormat, DataPrecision, DataScale, and NumberOfDecimals properties to control what type of data is entered, and how it is displayed to the user. The Value property returns the underlying value of the control based on the DataType property, even if the DisplayFormat property causes it to be displayed differently. It returns and accepts Null so you can save it directly to the DB.
The Before & After Update events give complete control over the data that goes into and out of the control. The Value property is not updated until the AfterUpdate event, so if you don't like what the user entered, you cancel the BeforeUpdate event, and the value will not change.
