Check your speedForward Pass, our general purpose authoring environment for Windows Powered mobile devices, is loaded with features for creating applications away from your desk. The built-in form designer and script editor are designed to minimize the number of steps necessary to design an application. We've included over eighty-five form transitions including wipes, reveals, and slides.
Forward Pass uses a customized version of Microsoft's VBScript as its programming language. VBScript code can be easily converted for use in Forward Pass. We've found that form development on the device is easier than using desktop editors. But we also recognize the tediousness of trying to edit scripts on a handheld, so we created Forward Pass Studio, a desktop accessory for editing scripts directly on the PDA through an ActiveSync connection. Forward Pass applications are stored in an XML file format. You can view, manipulate, and transport Forward Pass applications using third party XML tools. The environment generates an installation that includes the freely distributable Forward Pass runtime program.
