Pop-Up Zapper watches the work of your Web browser, and when it identifies a pop-up (or pop-under) window, it makes it invisible to you and then closes it. You can look at Pop-Up Zapper's counter on its dock icon to see that it's working. The program requires Internet Explorer and features free upgrades for registered users and the option to play a sound when a pop-up is zapped. You can enable or disable it from the dock menu via a command key or in the main window. You also can allow or zap Web sites. Pop-Up Zapper can act as a proxy for your Web browser or mail program and be told to leave out Flash animations, JavaScript, graphics more than 1K in size, all graphics, or a combination of these.
