Check your speedShopping Companion allows you to keep a database of items and print out shopping lists. The database-driven system allows you to manage multiple shopping trips. Changes are automatically saved preventing data loss if computer shuts down or locks up. The database has fields for store, aisle, product, brand, category, size, unit, price, per unit price, discount amount, quantity, and total. The store has a field for tax rate. Files are called trips so you can have more than one store per trip. Totals are calculated from the tax rate assigned to a store. Coupons can be used by utilizing the discount. Enter the discount as an amount or a percentage. Import information from the older grocery companion product. You can also import information from a text based file. Export information to text files, HTML files and spreadsheet format.
Version 2 is a major upgrade which includes various code and interface enhancements.
